GUATEMALA: IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PEOPLE
The most striking feature of Guatemala is its people. A visit to the raucous, colorful markets in towns such as Chichicastenango or Sololá will give you a feel for the palpable living culture of Guatemala's indigenous population.
You'll rarely receive a brusque reception from any Guatemalan, and with their infectiously amicable and helpful manner, it's the Guatemalans themselves who really make traveling in Guatemala special
